National Director of External Affairs and Committees, American Chamber Mexico

Israel Hernández Seguin is the National Director of External Affairs and Committees for the American Chamber of Commerce of Mexico. Previously, he acted as Deputy Director of the Mexican Council on Foreign Relations (COMEXI). He was a member of the Experts Panel on High Impact Projects for the Mexican Entrepreneurship Institute (INADEM) and has been an invited Professor at Universidad Iberoamericana.

Israel has served as Senior Consult for companies such as Grupo Bimbo and Olympus on global market trends and market expansion strategies as well as advisor on public policy innovation for organizations like the Center on Alternative Justice and the U.N. Program for Development. Additionally, he has been an analyst for international magazines including the Chicago Policy Review and Global Politics Magazine (UK), as well as for several media in Mexico.

He holds a BA Degree on International Affairs and Political Science from CIDE and a Master’s Degree on Finance from EGADE Business School, Tec de Monterrey. Besides, he has been invited to participate in global leadership initiatives at Lehigh University (USA), Getulio Vargas Foundation (Brazil) and the People’s Republic of China.
